The Altar of The Tarot is a collaborative project I made with artist Mira Mirali, who made some crochet masks and coloured tarot cards, whilst I built the altar and designed the black and white tarot cards.
The Film below shows the altar with my own work and the images show our combined efforts.
I have included many phallic sculptures onto the altar to represent the wand of the magician which represents the outward seeking individuating masculine qualities which in alchemy unite with the feminine qualities of the chalice or holy grail.
